Testimonials
On behalf of the organizing committee for the Disabled People’s International
(DPI) World Summit, I would like to thank you and your colleagues at the Independent
Interpreter Referral Service (IIRS) for contributing to the success of our
event.
As an international cross disability organization with three official languages,
one of our greatest challenges when we gather in large number is ensuring
equal access of information to all of our delegates. With its network of interpreter
for both spoken and sign language as well as its notetaking services, IIRS
was able to meet our wide range of communication needs. IIRS’ professional
attention to detail and willingness to do whatever was necessary ensured an
enjoyable experience for the delegates and allowed the event organizers to
focus on other areas of logistics planning.
We hope to work together again in the near future.

I enjoyed working with you and your team of interpreters. We were very pleased
with the interpreter performance and will not hesitate to recommend your team
should d we be approached by other Associations.
Our policy is to take advantage of local interpretation in as much as this
is possible.
Should the opportunity present itself, we hope to work with you again in the
future. Best wishes and continued success.

Hi
I don’t know if you remember my name. I am miss DZIKY Ablavi, a Deaf
woman from Togo, West Africa. I met you at DPI summit and was happy to know
you.
I am writing to say thank you very much for what you did for me. You took
my presentation to translate it to English and it was a very good idea. I
can say that DPI summit was very beneficial for me because it allowed me to
meet nice people like you.
Please receive my deep gratitude for your help.
